Lovely and Legal WALKING TOUR

We will immerse ourselves in the heartland of lawyers for a day packed with history and amazing architecture in a setting of wonderful gardens. There are FOUR INNS OF COURT where barristers train, live and work occupying 25 acres of prime land in the heart of London. We shall see all four of them - Gray’s Inn, Lincoln’s Inn, Middle Temple and Inner Temple and one that was Clifford’s Inn, with the gardens of the Maughan Library, now part of Kings College London University. Lunch will be in the magnificently vaulted hall of the Middle Temple, known as ‘the finest example of an Elizabethan hall’ which has remained virtually unaltered since 1562. We shall also be shown round the famed Temple Church set up by the order of the Knights Templar.
