River Tour and Walk
MONDAY 28 MAY
We are travelling further upstream for our river cruise this year (by request) but that means piers are less frequent and the tides are trickier, so we are combining garden visits with a riverside walk (only about 15 mins each way). We start at Westminster Bridge, sail up past Richmond, disembark and walk along the pretty river path to an unexpected garden with naked ladies. We walk back to the boat and sail downstream for lunch on the river and then visit three lovely elegant gardens that we have not seen before in chic Chiswick Mall.
Please note. There will be walking along the river’s edge
for approx half an hour, so sensible shoes called for,
particularly if it is wet.
